We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.
The brief assistant
The assistant on our brief page is a guided set of questions. It is not an AI model yet. If we switch on an AI assistant, this page will say so first, including who processes your answers and for how long.
Deep scan reports
An AI model writes the plain English in a deep scan report, from measurements our tools take of the scanned site’s public pages. It sees those pages and the measurements. It never sees your name, your email or your payment details. Brad reads every report before it reaches your account.
Who helps us
These companies handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Stripe takes card payments. We never see your full card number.
- Google Firebase looks after sign-in. We never see your password.
- Vercel hosts this website and the sites we build.
- Google PageSpeed times a site on a phone when you ask for a site check or a deep scan.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that writes the wording of deep scan reports.
Some of them store information in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK’s data bridge with the US or by the UK’s approved contract terms.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object, or to have a copy to take elsewhere. Write to [to add]. We answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The cookie page lists the little we store on your device and why.

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
